Stidolph Christmas 2009

Garth and I arrived home from singing the late Christmas eve service to find this waiting for us in the family room.

Doesn't his face look nice? Speeding sleds on slick snow hill + hidden jumps = bad crash

A sweet Daddy carries the sweet baby off to bed.

A few short hours later ...
a tender moment as the boys wish one another a Merry Christmas.

Millie was not quite as excited as her boys. "Really? We're up this early? Can you just let me outside now?" Garth has a very similar look when you wake him up too early.

Present opening commenced. This is the first year Maclin held his own with the boys. Opened his own presents and everything. Last year he was a little overwhelmed by the whole thing and we all ended up opening his gifts for him.

"I got a sweater? Are you kidding me?"
However, he perked up when he realized it was from his dog, Millie.

Garth's cousin Nathan and his family (Virginia and Rowan) are favorites in our house now that they sent this rocket. They have wanted one of these forever.

They are too busy with new video games and juice to give me the time of day.

It was a wonderful day.
We are truly blessed.
